Surviving the Old Man - Vol-1

Surviving The Old Man is an 8x11" ongoing autofiction comic that will run indefinitely. It is based on true stories from Tess Fowler's life, continuing the story first begun in her memoir Take the Fall. This first 200 page collection will feature comic art done in ballpoint pen, watercolor, gouache and ink. Tess has resurrected a teenage practice of drawing almost exclusively with various ballpoint pens. The art is black and grey, with red symbolizing all aspects of the Self that lives within. This collection is just the first of who knows how many.
